Comments/Posts on Steemit could be deleted if nobody has yet upvoted or commented on them. However, deleted Steemit posts/comments are still alive in the SteemIt blockchain and in theory, these data can be recovered. This handy tool allows you to quickly retrieve some steemit data (block number and more) for deleted comments/posts. The API could be used to further dig those data in the steemit blockchain.

Get SteemIt Deleted Comments/Posts - API (Application Programming Interface)
We get massive API requests that flood the server therefore it is sad that we have to turn off most of the 'public' APIs. The API access might be offered if you contact @justyy with more details (e.g. what you need APIs for). The API offers great stability and performance.
The API following has a
rate-limit 1 call per
second .

It will return JSON-encoded data has the following fields:

$_GET parameter
